Meet the Author

Cecelia Lester has been serious about her writing for over a decade..

 She has written several plays, five  of which have been performed by her church. She composes Christian essays and posts them to her blog quietspirit-followingmyking.blogspot.com/

In addition to writing, she has been involved in  "Acting Up In Church", a drama ministry for which she has written, directed, and acted in short plays.

Ms. Lester also participates in two prayer groups that pray for God's guidance for needs of the church, our congregation, and our nation and world. She also serves God by being part of her church's visitation team.

She  volunteered in a faith-based non-profit ministry assisting children of incarceration and their caregivers, Grace In Action. She served Grace In Action by writing two newsletters and searching for possible grants.

 In July 2017, she published her first book, "Times of Trouble Bring Rays of Joy."

She and her husband of 48 years live in central Indiana. They have one grown son.
