Ezekiel 33:1 — 11
The world needs Christians even when it refuses their Christ. Salt is the great preservative. We are the world’s salt. Our presence has a wholesome influence. It is of utmost importance to keep this salt really salty. Watchfulness, in a sane, wholesome way, to be ready when our Lord may return —this tends to keep the whole life true. And this not only bears witness to the world; it also helps the world, even when the witness is rejected.
