Devotional: 19th of Sivan

Afterwards, the people of Isra'el will repent and seek ADONAI their God and David their king (Hosea 3:5).

Over the years I have heard godly leaders, Jewish and Gentile, say that Israel will not be spiritually awakened until the Messiah Yeshua returns. As Yehudim Meshichim (Messianic Jews), we need to know what the Word of God says, and then make this information the foundation of our lives.

The above passage is one of many prophecies that speak of a great turning to God within Israel in the Latter Days. The prediction states that Israel will be without king, Temple, and homeland for a period of time and then will return to the Land. However, the physical restoration of Israel is paralleled by the spiritual restoration. Jewish people will not only seek God, but specifically "David their king" (i.e., the Messiah).

In the early 1970s, tens of thousands of Jewish people, suddenly and miraculously, accepted Yeshua the Messiah. Today, there are hundreds of Messianic congregations throughout the world. There is a growing movement in Israel and we have seen a revival in Russia of which we could have only dreamed!

Now is the "day of salvation" for Israel. Pray and believe that your family will be saved. Expect to see Jewish communities turn to the Messiah. Let us pray for and expect to see the greatest spiritual awakening of our people since the days of the Book of Acts!

...pray for the nation of Israel and for our people everywhere to know the Messiah Yeshua. Lord, use me in this great spiritual revival to bring many to you.
