If you want to get an idea across, wrap it up in a person or people (Perhaps with more tact than pragmatic, merciless Joab) . Ralph Bunche, 1904-

.Shimei (who had cursed David when he was down and out) . rushed to the king (as David crossed the Jordan on his return to Jerusalem) and said "Let not my lord consider me guilty, nor remember what your servant did wrong. For I, your servant, know that I have sinned. 2 Samuel 19:16-20
