Refreshment in Refuge

Trees shall sing
Date Posted: August 26, 2018

Isn't it fascinating to think about the fact that all of nature will rejoice and praise God on the Day of Judgement. In fact, all of nature points directly to God Himself every day. We see it in a bloom. We hear it in bird song and trees clapping in the wind. We smell it after the first drops of rain hit the ground on a scorching day. We see it in a rainbow and the colors of a sunset. We see it in sun kissed clouds on a clear evening, and most especially a sparkling night sky, or moonlight drenched garden.

Mankind thinks much of himself.

God knows he is nothing more than grass of the field.

Mankind tries to reach out to the stars, gather knowledge like corn and wheat, seeks dominion rather than humility.

God created the stars and flung them into space, is omniscient and omnipotent.

Mankind prepares for retirement accumulating wealth for peace of mind.

God is peace... and love... and hope.. and joy.

There will be a day of reckoning, Day of Judgement, Day of Jacob's Trouble.

Make sure your treasure is in Heaven where neither moth nor rust can destroy it.

Psalm 96:9 Oh, worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness! Tremble before Him, all the earth.

Psa 96:10 Say among the nations, "The LORD reigns; The world also is firmly established, It shall not be moved; He shall judge the peoples righteously."

Psalm 96:11 Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; Let the sea roar, and all its fullness;

Psalm 96:12 Let the field be joyful, and all that is in it. Then shall all the trees of the forest sing for joy

Psa 96:13 For He is coming, for He is coming to judge the earth. He shall judge the world with righteousness, And the peoples with His truth.
