Waiting and watching for what God says
Date Posted: March 3, 2024

I will watch to see what He will say to me.

What is God going to say to my questions?

I will look forth to see what He will speak with me.

I will wait and learn how He will answer my questions.

Wait to see what the Lord will tell me, what answer He will give to my complaint.

I will wait and see what the LORD will say about me and what I will answer when he reprimands me.

And God answered, “Write this down. Write what you see. Write in huge letters on a big sign so no one may miss it when they are running by it.

“The vision is about what is coming. What is coming aches to come. It is so impatient to come! It doesn’t lie. If it seems slow in coming, do not fret, but wait. It will come. It is on its way, and it will be exactly on time.”

What is it?

The reckoning and consequences.

And the LORD said, “Look at that man, bloated by self-importance-- full of himself but soul-empty. But the person in right standing before God through loyal and steady believing is fully alive, really alive….He is like death, never satisfited....Who do you think you are-- saying to a stick of wood, 'Wake up,' Or to a dumb stone, 'Get up'? Can they teach you anything about anything? There's nothing to them but surface. There's nothing on the inside. ”

What are we doing at play or ignoring Him or being bloated with self-importance when we should be worshiping our LORD God Almighty, giving thanks for the many blessings He has poured out on us.

Hush, now. Be still. The LORD is in His holy temple. Let all the earth keep silence, keep silence.

From Habakkuk 1,2.
