Relationships of The Heart w/ Nancy

Believe, Just Believe!

Have you ever found that when you are tired that this is the most difficult time to believe? To believe the promises of God that are hidden in his word and in our heart. To believe that the path we are on is the correct path. To trust that we are hearing from the Holy Spirit and not our own mind, the flesh or the enemy. It is when we are tired that we can become the most vulnerable to discouragement. Yet, if we take time for rest and refreshment, the discouragement will vanish and we will once again; believe in the promises of God, know that we are on his path and begin to trust that, yes we are hearing from the Holy Spirit.

Hebrews 4 is a reminder to us all. We must take time to enter into His sabbath rest.

Lord, rain down refreshment upon us as we approach a busy time of the year. The time is approaching when we begin to celebrate the birth of your Son, Jesus Christ. Give us wisdom in what we say yes to and what we say no to. Remind us when our minds stray from the why of the approaching time of celebration that it is not about how much we do, but who we are celebrating. You are precious to us Jesus!
