Relationships of The Heart w/ Nancy

This morning for some reason, as soon as my eyes opened I began to think about the word leadership. A few minutes later, I began to think about my life, specifically as a leader. The question came to my mind, “Am I doing what God is calling me to do, or is all the energy and time I spend writing and with people amounting to nothing?”
As a leader there may be times that we may all sit back and wonder, if the ministry we lead is having an impact in the lives of others. The question may arise in our mind and heart as a leader, “Is the time I spend with people, assisting them in their walk as a Christian, especially in the area of spiritual growth, making a difference at all?” We may also ask our self the question, “Am I helping people or am I a hindering their spiritual growth?” In asking ourselves these questions we must be careful not to beat ourselves up emotionally. We must be cautious and not examine the ministry we lead according to the world’s standards. Instead we must go to the word of God and examine ourselves as a leader according to his design. It’s not about our expectations or the expectations of others for us as leaders. Instead it is about God’s expectations and the guidance he gives to us as leaders, in his word.
As a leader- This week examine your life as a leader and ask yourself the questions in the above paragraphs.
