Relationships of The Heart w/ Nancy

A few minutes ago I began to chuckle, then I began to laugh. Not a loud laugh, but one that is more to myself. Once again I am on a journey of moving and packing. Only this time the packing is different than in the past. I set a goal for myself, not the usual goal of quickly placing everything in boxes. Instead the goal is to go through everything I own. This means every receipt box, every file, every drawer, all my clothes, everything that is in the one room I live in! Sounds simple doesn't it, but it is not as simple as it sounds.
A few days ago I went through everything in my filing cabinet and a few other areas thinking ahhhhh...I am finished. Then a couple of hours later, I felt the Lord leading me back to the same places. This time I went through it all again, with what I call NO mercy!
As I write this, yes I am laughing. I am laughing because God knows best. I am realizing that even in this area of my life he knows what he is doing. My life is gearing up and once I move to my first location life will change forever once again. It is easier to travel with the basics of life because it is easier to keep my focus on what I am to be doing now, and plan for the future.
What most people do not know about me is; long ago before I moved to my present city to attend school, I owned a large home, in fact I lived in 2 different large homes before I came here. I know how much time it takes to cut 2 acres of grass and keep a large yard looking good! I know the time it takes to be a good steward of a large home! Yet, there are times I still miss my home. I'm sure in a few more years it will be time for me to settle back down in my own home. In fact I am looking forward to when the day arrives once again. In fact just maybe when that time comes, I will be looking out my window, writing books about my travels, still traveling and gazing at the water.
In fact as I write this, I am beginning to see my trials and suffering that I traveled through as a gift. I've learned what it means to say the words, "When Less Is More." I am truly living the life of live as if....Jesus will return tomorrow.
