From ear to ear!

Chelsea was born with Moebius Syndrome. No matter how much she wanted to smile, for the first seven years of her life, she couldn't. It was physiologically impossible. Little Chelsea was born without a key nerve that transmits the 'smile signal' from her brain to her face. As a result, even when she was happy, her face was sad.

Fortunately for Chelsea, a team of physicians operated on the seven-year-old in 1995. They removed a muscle and a nerve from her leg and transplanted them beneath the surface of her face.

Today...Chelsea Thomas has something to smile about!!

'Moebius Syndrome is a very rare condition today; however, unhappy-looking Christians are all too common! I once heard a minister say that many Christians 'look like they've been weaned on sour pickles on the far side of the moon!' Many Christians today are easily swayed by the circumstances in their life or their emotional response to those circumstances.

BUT...if you belong to the Lord...YOU HAVE NO REASON TO BE DOWNCAST!!

The Lord has taken responsibility for your life and your future. YOU have every reason to lift your head and to be grateful!

As the old phrase says..."Smile! God loves you!"

"Why am I discouraged? Why so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will smile (Dennis' paraphrase!) and praise Him again - my Savior and my God!" - Psalms 42:5-6 (NLT)
