You Matter to God!!
Date Posted: February 16, 2005

It's hard to believe but Christmas was just six weeks ago! The credit card bills are probably reminding you of that! It seems the excitement of Christmas is all but a memory and we're in the midst of dragging through the cold, dreary days of winter.

But then comes along this bright little celebration....Valentine's Day!!

<>On this day of sharing love and adoration to those you care about may I recommend some gift ideas?

What? Spend more money? Dennis, you idiot - - I'm trying to pay off my Christmas expenses!

Well - calm down for just a brief moment. The gift ideas I'm thinking of won't cost you a penny and you will reap many, many benefits. Pick a 'gift' from the list below and share it with someone. I'm sure you'll know the perfect person to give it to!!

  • Mend a quarrel
  • Seek out a forgotten friend
  • Write a long overdue love note
  • Hug someone tightly and whisper 'I love you'
  • Forgive an enemy
  • Express appreciation
  • Release a grudge
  • Take a walk with a friend
  • Lessen your demand on others
  • Apologize if you were wrong
  • Turn off the television and talk
  • Pray for someone who helped you when you hurt
  • Encourage someone

May your gifts be given and received with joy and love!!
