Voice of Inspiration

I have an issue I must work through regularly.

It's embarrassing.

I reach for attention through my words written from visuals in my mind.

To write or not to write is my constant question.

I realize I must learn to keep my soul and spirit separate from my gifting. My gifts are accessories in my life to complete the call on my life.

To me, our bodies are a flexible mobile piece of machinery designed to be a workshop to create, build, and master the workings of the Lord. God constructed us to house Him and to take dominion over the world and bring it into the reality of His vision. Jesus told us to pray like this. "Your kingdom come, Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. " Matthew 6:10

We could say God is the Architect of a Master Planned Community. We are the servants given the task of co-building with Him. He's the one who designs and supervises the construction of the structures given to us. He holds the blueprints and shares with us, often, one page at a time. He supplies all necessary funding and workforce for completion.

How does it all fit together?

The Lord has given us natural and spiritual gifts. Our natural talents become fine-tuned through trial and error as Holy Spirit prepares us to fulfill the call on our lives manually. Our spiritual gifts help us to see God's perspective on the calling. As well they mysteriously gel as one. The oneness of the two creates a supernatural ability to see God's vision, get His strategy, and implement it.

All is well and good as we work for God's kingdom purposes.

But there's a consistent issue with our gifts and abilities lacing themselves to our identity. It's as though we are not aware of it, and we're being lured into thinking and believing these gifts are us, and we are them.

When mixed with pure purpose, these gifts become a driving force that propels us into our predestined life. It's a life of God's accomplishments through us. It's a powerful thing to be in line with God's perfect plan for us. While in this flow of success, we must learn to guard our hearts for purity. By its nature, our flesh will want to take credit for what God's gifts have done for us and through us.

After saying all this, I don't want you to hesitate to do the work you're to do. Our ability to do God's work with all our hearts and still walk in humility is not lost. Read this.

Colossians 3:23-24ESV 'Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ. '

If you tend, as I do, to look for some inner glory from others, ask the Lord for forgiveness, then ask Holy Spirit to give you God's perspective on the matter. He will.

Remember, you are a flexible mobile piece of machinery designed to be a workshop to create, build, and master the workings of the Lord.

Carry on with the work given to you.
