When he saw that he had not prevailed against him, he touched the socket of his thigh; so the socket of Jacob's thigh was dislocated while he wrestled with him. - (Genesis 32:25)

Definition of grapple: to grip or seize, as in a wrestling match; "the two men grappled with each other for several minutes"
It's been nearly thirteen years since I've move from Arizona to the east coast. That's how long I've sincerely followed Christ. Yet, I still have been in question on what He is doing in my life. It's been like a wrestling match between me and God. Think about this for a moment. Who's going to win if I'm wrestling God? We all know there is no opposing God and winning in the same sentence. It's like watching an Olympic match. The better opponent is looking for ways to pin the other. The lesser of the two is holding on as tight as he can to prevent the pinning. If no one is pinned the match continues till time runs out.
I've had to reach a place in my life that I've decided to wrestle with God knowing He is the greater opponent. I've had to make a decision to hold on to Him as tight as I can until time runs out or until I die. I want to know what He has in store for me. I have questions that I want answered. I know He won't give them all to me at one time but I want Him to know that I want to know what His plans are. What is the good work He has for me to do? What is He trying to perfect in me? Why have I been through hell? What is my purpose on this earth? How will my desire's and purpose intersect to help others? I have many questions and some answers are being reveled.
But I want Him to know I will hold on to Him, as long as I can, for the source of all my answers to this life.
My question to you is, will you wrestle with God? I hope you do because He can take it. He wants the interaction and the passion and the perseverance to burst out of you. Will you fight for answers? Will you hold on to Him as tight as you can? I promise you, if you do, He will touch you in a way that will change your life. He will take you to the core of all your issues heal you and make you whole. He will touch the socket of your thigh and dislocate you from the world in a way you never dreamed of.
