Voice of Inspiration

It was the same pattern as before. Subtle, stealth and snipe are the staple words for how He works. It’s His modus operandi to apply maximum damage with little visibility.
Who is this guy?
He is God.
But not just any god, He is the God of army angels. In the beginning He spoke the stars, moon, sun and earth into existence. But when it came to mankind, the reflection of Himself, He took special attention. Silently He molded the future of the earth’s existence, keeping the fallen, in anxious terror.
It was a stealth move.
We see it from time to time with Moses, Joseph and King David. Again we see it with birth of the Savior. A virgin covertly carries the only hope for mankind giving birth in an obscure barn.
It was a stealth move.
Once again, nearing His final act of victory, He abruptly pierces deep darkness with the light of truth.
Matthew 22:14 (Amp) For many are called (invited and summoned), but few are chosen.
Here’s the scene. The religious elite are trying to find fault in Jesus so they could arrest Him. They had to rid Him because He was exposing the truth of what religion will do to a man’s soul. The religious elite would lose power and control of the people if they believed in the relentless love of God and His grace.
What does this have to do with “For many are called, but few are chosen.”? To “find the call” in our life it requires us to answer the call of salvation. Because of Jesus’ victory over death, this is the easy part of the story. Anyone can answer the call to salvation but from that point on for several years of our life, if we choose to grow, we will be in preparation for the call.
Here my point. Many will have to fight the religious thought patterns that have been engraved in us throughout the years. It will be a battle between the two R’s.
Religion vs. Relationship
We will have to fight the condemning, self-inflicting thoughts. We will have to arm ourselves against the self-righteous judgments. We’ll fight against any thought that tries to supersede God’s gospel of grace, love and holiness. It will surely be a fight because religion doesn’t want to lose its power. The religious elite, with their strict unreachable teachings were driving people away from God and making the work of redemption a laundry list of judgments. Ridding the religious attitude will draw people to God’s love and not repel them.
In this stage of our walk with Christ, we build a relationship with Him and “find the call” for our life. Also in this stage is a particular challenge we all must face.
To “find the call” is one thing, to train for it and accomplish it is another, for many are called but few are chosen. To be chosen we must first let endurance have full play and do a thorough work in us. (James 1:4 Amp)
Personally I don’t like the word “endurance” but the only way to instill endurance is to practice it because it will be required of you to endure if you are to complete the call on your life.
Let me package this so you can get a clearer understanding.
You are God’s stealth move in this world. He specifically chose you to do a good work in this life. Your gifts, talents and abilities are clues to the direction of the work but it will take God Himself to reveal more specific details. He will do this in order as if reading blueprints for your life. If you endure the process, one day you will suddenly know in your heart you have been chosen and what you have been chosen to do.
Remember you are God’s stealth move into the world of turmoil to bring peace, life and restoration.
I leave you with this call to action from the Apostle Paul. 10In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [be empowered through your union with Him]; draw your strength from Him [that strength which His boundless might provides]. 11Put on God's whole armor [the armor of a heavy-armed soldier which God supplies], that you may be able successfully to stand up against [all] the strategies and the deceits of the devil. 12For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the despotisms, against the powers, against [the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere. 13Therefore put on God's complete armor, that you may be able to resist and stand your ground on the evil day [of danger], and, having done all [the crisis demands], to stand [firmly in your place]. 14Stand therefore [hold your ground], having tightened the belt of truth around your loins and having put on the breastplate of integrity and of moral rectitude and right standing with God, 15And having shod your feet in preparation [to face the enemy with the firm-footed stability, the promptness, and the readiness produced by the good news] of the Gospel of peace. 16 Lift up over all the [covering] shield of saving faith, upon which you can quench all the flaming missiles of the wicked [one]. 17 And take the helmet of salvation and the sword that the Spirit wields, which is the Word of God. 18 Pray at all times (on every occasion, in every season) in the Spirit, with all [manner of] prayer and entreaty. To that end keep alert and watch with strong purpose and perseverance, interceding in behalf of all the saints (God's consecrated people). - (Ephesians 6:10-18 Amp)
Keep fighting to “find the call” for your life.
