I AM NEEDY!

Father,

I NEED to know the love that You have for me. I need to KNOW, have an understanding, a comprehension, have an experiential knowledge of the love you have for me. Not just for the body of Christ, but for me personally. I need to know that you know who I am and know my life and care about my personal life. If I don't have a real knowledge of this kind of love then there is no way I can show it to someone else.

I need to know the love that put Jesus Christ on the cross for me. I need to understand that kind of love. Then I need to know how to show that same kind of love to others. I need to know that I know that this love is ALREADY in me if I am born again. And then I need to know how to draw on that love and how to show it to others. If I am to show unconditional love like you have for me to other people then I know that I am going to experience deep hurts and disappointments. Because when you give this love out you are going to have ones that cause deep hurts. So I need to know how to receive healing in these areas so that I won't quit and give up and get weary in well doing. I need to know and experience for myself your promise of healing in those areas so I can continue to pour out the unconditional love. If I am to continue to show the love of God, truly from my heart, giving it my all, then I need the joy of the Lord for my strength. Without your strength I would get weary and tired of being hurt and quit giving you all of me. So I need to know and experience for myself your joy. I need to know that I know that this joy is already in me, because you are in me, so I need to know how to draw out that joy when I and others need it. I have to know this joy. I need to know this joy.

I also need to know the peace that belongs to me. You gave me peace and I have it, but I need to KNOW it. I need to know how to use the peace of God when my patience wants to wear thin or when trials, tests and tribulations come my way. I NEED to have a working knowledge and understanding of what this peace is and what it can do for me and for others.

I also need to know your kind of wisdom. Not wisdom the world gives, but your supernatural, spiritual wisdom that only you can give. You said if any lack wisdom to ask and you would give it. I need your wisdom to know how to do all the things I just talked to you about. To have the wisdom to give out your true love and not what mine or the worlds perception of love is. Sometimes we get tunnel vision and become un-teachable because we think we have the answer but there is always more. So I need your wisdom to know what the real love of God looks like, acts like and treats others. I need your wisdom to know when to help and when not too. Sometimes we can do more damage by trying to help and so I need to know your wisdom in this area too. As a matter of fact I need your wisdom in all areas of my life. Teach me how to draw on that wisdom. Open the eyes of my understanding to see, really see and understand these things. I need this Lord. I really need to know these things. So see I really am a needy person, but that's okay, because I am needy in you and you alone. You meet my EVERY need.

Therefore, Lisa has a heart-desire to bring people to a greater understanding of God's love. Her teachings explain that when His love is activated IN His children, it will motivate them to give just as His love motivated Him to give 'His only begotten Son', Jesus, to the world. God's wisdom does not always flow with the world's system of wisdom and His Word says, 'my people perish for lack of knowledge'. Lisa states, 'During meditation one day, I heard the word 'winnows'. With great curiosity, I learned it to mean,

'To separate the chaff from (grain) by means of a current of air. To rid of undesirable parts. To separate or get rid of (an undesirable part); eliminate: winnowing out the errors in logic. ...separate grain from chaff...separate the good from the bad...examine closely in order to separate the good from the bad; sift...' (www.dictionary.com) 'This study gave me direction and focus for my teaching. God had placed a longing in my heart to teach the body of Christ how to separate from carnal thinking and rid themselves of old ways that hinder their Spiritual growth. I desire to see them live victoriously, by the 'higher ways' of God's wisdom.'
