TODAY!!!

Father, TODAY is the 1st day of the rest of my life. TODAY, this morning, Your mercies were NEW! TODAY, right now, I have been forgiven for every sin, every failure, and every iniquity. TODAY You have forgiven and chosen to forget every single area of my life that was not pleasing to you. Colossians 3:3 tells me that I died with Jesus and my present tense life is hidden with Christ IN You. Galatians 2:20 tells me "...it is no longer I who lives but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me-the life I NOW LIVE."

TODAY, I choose to believe Your Word. TODAY I choose to believe that I am right now at this present time, a new creation in Christ Jesus and old things are passed away and all things have become new. TODAY, I choose to forgive myself and release all guilt and condemnation, even over the failures of this day. I will not allow me to judge myself and wallow in guilt and condemnation because Jesus died for this very reason, so that I could walk out of failure into victory- IN HIM!

It is time to get up, wash myself in the washing of the water of the Word, and get on with my life and what You have ordained for my life. So, TODAY Lord, I choose to forgive every person that has ever done anything to me or my family; I release forgiveness to them. TODAY, I choose to allow the healing anointing of the Holy Spirit to wash over me, penetrating my heart and healing me from the inside out. I allow You, Jesus, to come in and cleanse and renew and restore my mind, heart and the deep places in me that hurt and grieve, even those hurts caused by my own stupid mistakes. TODAY, I choose to let You heal every emotional and physical ailment or wound that I have. I let go and release every root of bitterness. TODAY, I allow You, Holy Spirit, to anoint me with the oil of gladness and I choose to stop grieving: stop grieving over the loss of money, stop grieving over wasted time, stop grieving over lost relationships, stop grieving over past mistakes. I can't change and anything else that would cause sorrow to come in and steal from me, but I can choose to forgive!.

TODAY, I choose to start fresh and new with You, God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit as my guide, counselor, helper, advocate, standby and everything that I need. God You said You would vindicate me. You said that You would restore my soul. You said the thief, when caught, has to replace and restore everything stolen from me. I command the devil to loose everything he has taken and to restore it back to me seven-fold! I have repented of my failures and sins and I REFUSE to grieve any more over them. I refuse to keep looking back and falling into the same stupid traps by not looking ahead of me. I shake off my past, even the stench and smell of failure. I am not a failure; I succeed because Jesus. You created me a success. Jesus, You made me righteous, You made me whole and new. I don't have to fix myself. That is why You died. So I can walk in Your VICTORY! Thank you JESUS! So TODAY, I start t just as if I had never failed or sinned. I start fresh and new. I AM FRESH AND NEW TODAY! IN JESUS' NAME-AMEN! HALLELUJAH!

Lisa Mendenhall lives in Smackover, Arkansas with her husband of over 28 years, Chris. She has 4 grown children who also love the Lord, each serving Him in some capacity. As a teacher of the Word, Lisa, believes that she has a responsibility to use her God-given gift to teach those who have a desire to live victorious in Christ how to do so. She believes in order to live victoriously, one must get to know God and His character. His character is love. Therefore, Lisa has a heart-desire to bring people to a greater understanding of God's love. Her teachings explain that when His love is activated IN His children, it will motivate them to give just as His love motivated Him to give 'His only begotten Son', Jesus, to the world. God's wisdom does not always flow with the world's system of wisdom and His Word says, 'my people perish for lack of knowledge'. Lisa states, 'During meditation one day, I heard the word 'winnows'. With great curiosity, I learned it to mean,

'To separate the chaff from (grain) by means of a current of air. To rid of undesirable parts. To separate or get rid of (an undesirable part); eliminate: winnowing out the errors in logic. ...separate grain from chaff...separate the good from the bad...examine closely in order to separate the good from the bad; sift...' (www.dictionary.com) 'This study gave me direction and focus for my teaching. God had placed a longing in my heart to teach the body of Christ how to separate from carnal thinking and rid themselves of old ways that hinder their Spiritual growth. I desire to see them live victoriously, by the 'higher ways' of God's wisdom.'
