It was a very real two-way prayerful conversation.

A young man’s mother kept bringing out photographs of him as a baby. Becoming upset and embarrassed, he took it to God in prayer.

He sensed this answer come.

I too wish people would not bring me out every year portraying and displaying me as a baby.

I am a man, with important things to say, as I challenge sin.

I have teaching to impart, which will help everyone who pays serious attention.

As a man, I called men, and will continue to call men until it is the time of my return.

My desire and longing is to transform and change lives, so that men may change and transform the world.

All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me, and I authorised the Church, which I am building, to go and make disciples, baptising all who come to believe, and to teach those disciples to obey everything I have commanded.

I did nothing of import, and said nothing, and taught nothing, as a baby.

It was only after I emerged from the Jordan River that I began to say and do what the Father sent me to say and do.

Yes, everything that is written in Scripture about my birth, and how I came into this world, is accurate and true.

Yes, what is written about my mother and Joseph actually took place just as it is described by Matthew and Luke.

The details concerning Zechariah and Elizabeth, surrounding the birth of cousin John, are equally reliable, but it was when we became men, that men responded and reacted.

I understand your prayerful concern more than you may realise.

Can I rely on you to proclaim me as a man?
