Ramadan, observed throughout the Islamic world, is drawing to a close.

Over these past weeks thousands of disciples of Jesus Christ have been praying specifically for the Muslim world using an excellent informative booklet, “Loving Muslims through Prayer”.

These thirty days of prayer has been a time when Christians pray for God's sovereign intervention in the lives of Moslems during this month of the year when Moslems are particularly religious.

Those participating are encouraged to pray for Muslim friends and acquaintances.

One cannot emphasise enough our total dependence upon the Holy Spirit.

As with all evangelism, manifesting the love of God through kindness and respect in our relationships is strongly stressed.

Personal testimony can play a vital role.

Everyone needs to hear about the experiences of those who have faith in Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

Tell people how God intervenes and works in your own life. Speak of His faithfulness, justice and love.

Many do not understand God as One who makes and keeps promises.

Telling how God has moved in your life can be much more important than sometimes we realise.

In a day when people are searching all over the place for spiritual reality, the story of how the risen Jesus has lovingly led you, can have a transforming influence in the lives of spiritually hungry and thirsty men and women.

Where objections arise, they are to be met with kindness and understanding.

Passionate arguments rarely win people to Jesus.

Jesus said that eternal life is to know God. That is more than just knowing certain things about Him. It is knowing Him personally, and enjoying an intimate relationship with Him.

When we hear of ‘Islamophobia’, whatever that is, could God be calling you to become significantly involved in dispelling any fears?
