There is one area of the Christian life which enables you to grow stronger almost immediately, and that is, when you share your faith.

Someone is talking to you about a massive problem in their life, or a difficulty they are facing, and you pluck up the courage to speak about Jesus, or ask if you can pray for them there and then.

It is not enough to have an inflow. There must be an outflow too.

“But what words would I use? No, I could never do that!”

Words will be given you when the situation arises, and after you have spoken and shared what God has given you, you will go away so encouraged and uplifted.

Yes, pray with people on the High Street, or in the Supermarket. The opportunity may never arise again, and there is no need to close your eyes.

When that issue is resolved, because you spoke or prayed, the person will tell what happened, and if another serious matter arises, it may be to you, the individual will turn.

We are commanded to go and make disciples and baptise and teach. It is a command, not a mere suggestion.

When coming across a ‘shopping channel’ on television, we are told, ‘you want this, you need this, and this is what you have been waiting for’.

How many so need to know that Jesus Christ is risen and alive? How many so need to know that their sins can be forgiven, and that what they might have done or said can be dealt with?

Many live with guilt, rejection and shame.

Jesus Christ is the only one who can adequately deal with these profound deep troublesome emotions, and you may be the key to open the door to freedom, light, and healing love.
