Do you ever feel you are just ordinary?

Surely Almighty God would never use someone who is just ordinary. O yes, He does.

What kind of difference could one ordinary person possibly make?

Noah was an ordinary family man and he saved his family from a world wide flood.

Joseph had been a day dreaming teenager who was sold as a slave, imprisoned unfairly, but because of his wisdom and patience rose to become Prime Minister of Egypt, and saved the known world from hunger.

Moses ran away at one point in his life, having killed someone, and having been found out, but later he led a nation to freedom. He even told God to go and get someone else.

Joshua served his apprenticeship under Moses, and God used him to lead a band of wanderers to battle against the heaviest fortified city in the world, and win.

David was a shepherd boy who one day fought the fiercest warrior in the land with a sling and five stones, and on he went to become king of Israel.

Jeremiah was a reluctant young man when God called him to speak to the nation. He argued with God saying that he did not know how to speak, but God replied by reassuring him that He would put His words in Jeremiah’s mouth.

Young Daniel changed the national religion of a pagan kingdom which was steeped in the occult.

Down through the centuries God has chosen, called and equipped the most ordinary people to do mighty exploits which they thought they could never do.

What extraordinary thing has God created you to do?

When you dare to take a step of faith with Jesus Christ there is no knowing what God might do with you.
