Word from Nairnshire

Many are pained and hurting and just managing to survive, as this economic recession digs deep into people's hopes, dreams and plans.

Politicians have disappointed millions. Yes, we expect more from those who put themselves forward as leaders. Did they think for one moment that their sins would not be found out? It is not simply their sins that have been discovered, but they have been found out. The quality of their characters has been exposed.

There has been no repentance yet, as far as I am aware! We have had offerings of being sorry but we need more than that, as the behaviour of politicians and bankers has ruined the lives of many.

There is an answer. Two thousand years ago Jesus Christ died on Calvary's Cross to wash us from our sin and sins.

Seven weeks after Jesus Christ was crucified and raised from the dead, He poured out the Holy Spirit to equip and empower all who are open. We hear much about empowerment today. This is greatest empowerment any man could ask for and receive.

Help is at hand. Over the past years, thousands have found this to be real and true. When we receive, and are empowered, by the Holy Spirit, guidance and direction are readily available too.

The Holy Spirit brings confidence, courage, and boldness, imparting peace, power and purity.

What happened on the day of Pentecost is as relevant and meaningful today as it was then!

Where do you go for all this? You go to Jesus Christ. He will never disappoint, nor will He ever let you down.

Why are people not queuing up to receive these characteristics that contribute to an integrity, which is sadly missing and lacking in so many walks of life today?
