'Christ in You...'

A New World For You
Date Posted: April 12, 2015

Have you ever been stunned, amazed, and shocked with a scene of what God has created in His creation? I have - even to tears.

Some "ordinary" sights around us are so beautiful, and, if we allow, can glorify our God in our hearts and minds, inspire us, encourage us, instill joyful and thankful attitudes and feeling of love and admiration to the God who made it all - and who has made us. Just upon seeing an unusually spectacular sunset, a cloud formation, or even the sky.

Many dwell in areas and conditions in which a sunset is seldom if ever seen. It is amazing how few seldom look up...just look UP. It seems almost all are looking down. Of course we must watch our steps at times, and be aware of the around, but most it seems are only looking down most of the time.

Oh what can be missed by not looking up, and around at that which is near and afar! God has made the infinitesimal, and the infinite of far away; the intricate weaving of vegetation, the infinite varieties of creatures of large in small. One can only try to express, sometimes aloud, "how great Thou art!"

But as beautiful as God's handiwork is now (unknown to us, He continually creates and sustains, and is busy creating that which we cannot see), It is going to be even more beautiful some day.

However, there is one aspect of that which God has created that has it's ugly side.

Many of the living creatures that He has made seem anything but beautiful in their action and reactions toward each other - and also toward us. At this time, there is a wild side of that which God originally created that we all must fear from time to time. Wild animals, crawling creatures, insects - even some flying creatures can be threatening to us.

Also much of the world of today has been abused, and besmirched by man in his lust for money and things. Some of this seems necessary in some ways. However, much goes far beyond need, and feeds our lusts and greed. Some of the originally beautiful areas of the earth have been so misused that there is little remaining that can honestly be called beautiful.

But did you know? There is a new world coming. Perhaps sooner than we realize. A world when the earth and what is on will seems to cry out with exhilarating joy, and scenes of unimaginable beauty and peace. The trees and forests, and mountains will become so beautiful that they seem to break into singing. Even today we hear the expression "the singing hills". A time is coming when they will seem to sing even more beautifully.

Also, that will be a time when the dangers from the wildness of animals and living creatures will be changed into peaceful, even loving creatures. How? God will have changed their natures. They were not originally intended to be wild and carnivorous, and dangers to humans. The fall of mankind also included the fall of much of what God originally created for mankind and was placed under a curse. But this will be changed. Notice Isaiah 11:

"And the wolf shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid, and the calf and the young lion and the fatted domestic animal together; and a little child shall lead them. And the cow and the bear shall feed side by side, their young shall lie down together, and the lion shall eat straw like the ox." - Isaiah 11:6-7

The Apostle Paul alludes to this time: "That nature (creation) itself will be set free from its bondage to decay and corruption [and gain an entrance] into the glorious freedom of God’s children. We know that the whole creation [of irrational creatures] has been moaning together in the pains of labor until now." - Romans 8:21-22

The whole world will seem to break forth into singing: "The whole earth is at rest and is quiet; they break forth into singing. Yes, the fir trees and cypresses rejoice at you [O kings of Babylon], even the cedars of Lebanon, saying, Since you have been laid low, no woodcutter comes up against us." - Isaiah 14:7-8

Someday, all the earth will break forth into singing and shouts of joy and praise of the One who removed the curse, crushed all evil, brought peace, and made the earth and everything on it new.

And all the world will be at peace. The wild will be at peace. Mankind will be at peace. Because the Prince Of Peace has come.

You can be there, too...

"For [even the whole] creation (all nature) waits expectantly and longs earnestly for God’s sons to be made known [waits for the revealing, the disclosing of their sonship]. For the creation (nature) was subjected to [a]frailty (to futility, condemned to frustration), not because of some intentional fault on its part, but by the will of Him Who so subjected it—[yet] with the hope that nature (creation) itself will be set free from its bondage to decay and corruption [and gain an entrance] into the glorious freedom of God’s children. We know that the whole creation [of irrational creatures] has been moaning together in the pains of labor until now. And not only the creation, but we ourselves too, who have and enjoy the firstfruits of the [Holy] Spirit [a foretaste of the blissful things to come] groan inwardly as we wait for the redemption of our bodies [from sensuality and the grave, which will reveal] our adoption (our manifestation as God’s sons)." - Romans 8:19-23
