'Christ in You...'

Afflictions

Your body are created by God. You were knit together in your mother's womb by an awsome God, who had a long range purpose for creating you.

Your body was not given to you to keep you from something, or to hold you back from accomplishing God's purpose for your live, but move you forward toward the purpose for which you were created. We are His workmanship, and He knows your birth, your past, present, and - your future. If you belong to Him through Jesus Christ, your future is indescribably wonderful.

But many, for the present time, are living a life in the body that is anything but wonderful.

Our bodily afflictions may tell us every moment of every day that we are temporary. But you are not temporary. Only the physical body is temporary. It was designed by God to be temporary. However, regardless of inherited afflictions caused by mismanagement or misuse of them, or just inherited flaws, you are still His creation. His purpose is to use your fleshly bodies as fleshly models for something much more permanent and functual.

His purpose was, and still is, to use our bodies as cartelists for changing our natures into a God-like nature like His. If you are hurting, or flawed, or in some suffering, do what you can to alleviate it. During this process, He may allow various afflictions in our bodies that we feel is counterproductive to what we understand He is doing with us..

Then is when you need to trust Him - His ultimate wisdom and compassion. He has infinite love for you, and He is in the process of creating in you His eternal nature and life. In His infinite wisdom, He knows exactly how to do this. He is not stamping out carbon copies. He is creating a unique son or daughter. No one will ever be exactly like the finished product - you!

There will be only one "you" forever, and you will share His eternal existence with Him forever. He knows what He is doing. And there are times when you may think he has forgotten you or ignored you. Because you are still in the creation stage, you may sometimes feel you just can't understand how He is doing this - or, perhaps not doing this. All of your life and bodily experiences are designed so that you can share eternity with Him forever. Be patient as best you can each day and he will see you through. Live one day at a time.

To help you, you have a hopeful promise (Revelation 21:4-5); (1 Thessalonians 5:17-18 AMP) Afflictions humble you, and when allowed, will make you more receptive to the voice of the Holy Spirit. Everything in life changes with time - even our afflictions in some ways. Everything, even your afflictions, are woven into God's purpose - all for your good - they can make you more receptive to His will in your lives, and result more in your glory and in His glory. All things were designed to change within God's timing with those who belong to Him (Romans 8:28)

Physical weakness is used by God to prove His efficiency and power manifested through your weakness. "And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me." - 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 (AMP)

You are blessed, even with your pains and afflictions, with God's love and favor, to last for eternity, when your afflictions will not even be remembered...: Notice these promises of things to come when you will forget your painful past forever:"For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind." - Isaiah 65:17.

"Then I heard a mighty voice from the throne and I perceived its distinct words, saying, See! The abode of God is with men, and He will live (encamp, tent) among them; and they shall be His people, and God shall personally be with them and be their God. God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and death shall be no more, neither shall there be anguish (sorrow and mourning) nor grief nor pain any more, for the old conditions and the former order of things have passed away." - Revelation 21:3-4

"May blessing (praise, laudation, and eulogy) be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah) Who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual (given by the Holy Spirit) blessing in the heavenly realm!" - Ephesians 1:3 (AMP)

Until then, endure...an eternity of joy and no pain or sickness in a perfect body will be your inheritance forever. And there is an additional promise you must always remember - Jesus bore more affliction and pain than we can ever imagine. He knows what you are experiencing. He will see you through.

"Let your character or moral disposition be free from love of money [including greed, avarice, lust, and craving for earthly possessions] and be satisfied with your present [circumstances and with what you have]; for He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!]" - Hebrews 13:5 (AMP)
