'Christ in You...'

Called To Worship
Date Posted: September 16, 2018

You and I were created and born to worship. Even if we are presently unaware of it.

Even if it exists only in our minds - something or someone outside of that which we call the “self“.

Indeed we, as human beings, are put together spiritually and even mentally and physically, to worship something or someone, who is outside of the “self” entity.

One simple definition of “Worship” could be described as whatever a person puts first in life. God gives you and me the freedom to choose the what or the who. Along with this freedom, God commands us to focus our worship on the One who gives us that freedom. There is something within all of us that wants to worship something.

In the world there exists a multitude of beliefs, feelings, and mental and even physical beliefs and activities. Each may or may not consider these inclinations as required to be a visible or invisible to others. America, among the nations of the world, has been established on the principle of freedom.

America was founded on freedom and related principles, that were declared to be guaranteed by law.

This freedom includes the freedom to believe in an all-knowing, all encompassing Being - invisible, but always present in what is known and also in all that is unknown.

Have you at times felt that there is something missing in your life...something that you can't really identify or explain...even to yourself? There is something deep down in the human psyche that compels us to value and exalt someone - or something - above and beyond ourselves. Some admire movies and music performers almost to the point of worship, although it is not worship, but a feeling of admiration.

God put a “spirit” in - not the “Holy Spirit” yet - but a spirit called a “conscience. deep down in all humanity. This conscience is the preparation for receiving the Holy Spirit, the very nature of God - if you will believe God, and that Jesus Christ is His Son who was sent by God the Father. But in the world today, there are literally thousands of ways that can be chosen to entertain, in one way or another, our minds and interests that can fill and occupy us every moment of our lives.

This can blind and deceive us into ignoring reality. Some day, we will face that which cannot be managed by the business of our lives.

If you can believe that God sent Him to earth to enable you and those whom He has made you to know, love, and honor and receive eternal life. If living for eternity in the glory of heaven, tell Him you want to live forever, and fulfill the purpose for which you were born.

Will you fulfill that which you were made for? Go…somewhere - and get on your knees and tell Him you want to surrender to Him, and receive eternal life.

He will hear you and grant you repentance of all your past that you have not known Him.

He is waiting for you…

“At that time Jesus said, “I praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth [I openly and joyfully acknowledge Your great wisdom], that You have hidden these things [these spiritual truths] from the wise and intelligent and revealed them to infants [to new believers, to those seeking God’s will and purpose].

Yes, Father, for this way was well-pleasing in Your sight. All things have been handed over to Me by My Father; and no one fully knows and accurately understands the Son except the Father; and no one fully knows and accurately understands the Father except the Son, and anyone to whom the Son [deliberately] wills to reveal Him.

Come to Me, all who are weary and heavily burdened [by religious rituals that provide no peace], and I will give you rest [refreshing your souls with salvation]. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me [following Me as My disciple], for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest (renewal, blessed quiet) for your souls. For My yoke is easy [to bear] and My burden is light.” - (Matthew 11:25-28 (AMP)
