'Christ in You...'

Can You Believe?
Date Posted: December 17, 2017

Most of us seldom realize that our whole lives revolve around what we believe.

If we do not believe that our automobile would get us to where we desire to go, we would at least have second thoughts as to what we need to do next. Some would just take the chance - and drive. Some would ponder the next step, the next best thing to do, and attempt to go, regardless of any doubts or hesitations. They ignore the odds. However, most would have considered the possible risks, and have accepted the risks, and plunge.

They just drive. In a sense, they just plunge into somewhat of a blind confidence in the four wheels they are riding on. Usually, perhaps, their faith is justified.

That is, until either the automobile or their ability to control it falters.

In most simple decisions that we must make, we have obtained enough experience to release us from serious doubts about most of what we must do in our everyday lives.

Unfortunately, when it comes to the future many neglect to try to see far enough ahead in life to analyze the possible events, and the probable events and take real precautions. We do this because of our own life experience, and observing or hearing about the experiences of others. Also, most automobile owners have read the manual that comes with the vehicle, and tried to understand what must be expected from its performance.

It is a strange irony that many seldom if ever look at their lives with the same caution and forethought.

They live on impulse. Many get by quiet well this way…at least for a while. Reality is sometimes a very brutal teacher concerning the future. Through the warnings in life experience, there should be a collective wisdom that is gained when we go through the school of hard knocks. Sad to say, many never learn, or even anticipate the road ahead.

There is a manual available to almost all of us. A spiritual one. A manual that directs us while living this time allotted to us that we call life. This manual contains everything we can expect to be a part of our lives. And it is much more detailed than our automobile manual. It is certainly possible that by living by the instruction manual for our automobiles could save our life at some future time. This manual has been written and caused to be written all the eventual possibilities on the road of life. Most know the manual exists, but seldom consider how important it is.

It is a thousand times more complete and beneficial than all the manuals that the world has written about all the possibilities of all we can expect in a lifetime. And beyond.

You may have this manual somewhere in your possession.

You know which manual I am referring to…yes, the Holy Bible.

This Manual tells us everything we would ever need to know as long as we live.

Do you have one of these Manuals? It is a manual inspired and written by God Himself.

This Manual’s content can be summed up in one statement: it is pleading for you to believe in Jesus Christ.

The entire Bible is pleading for you to believe…to believe in God’s Son Jesus so that you can live forever in a glorious eternal life that defies any attempt to describe.

Do you have a copy of this Manual? Find one. Read it. It will tell you how to live on your road of life - a life of joy that never needs or wears out or needs to be replaced.

Can you believe?

“Even to your old age I am He, And even to your advanced old age I will carry you! I have made you, and I will carry you; Be assured I will carry you and I will save you.” - Isaiah 46:4
