'Christ in You...'

We all, by nature, strive to be and to have what we want. And also we want it when we want it. On time. On our schedule.
But the bitter truth is, we can't have life just as we want it, but most will spend a lifetime trying. We would be happier, more peaceful minded, and content - if; if we would surrender to the will of Jesus Christ. Giving our lives over to Him is the only way to finally realize a life that we want.
How?
By virtue of that fact that life as we want it, and the life that Christ wants for us will finally coincide. Rest in Him...for He is always with you, because He is in you by the Holy Spirit. When this occurs, our own wants and desires become His.
You will finally no longer have the same wants...they are being transformed. Your life is being been caught up in Him. Your efforts to DO what you have thought was right are slowly fading into becoming more and more one of being a new creation, one that is growing into BEING right, because slowly you are being created anew.
But how is this coming about?
"...the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory." - Colossians 1:26-27.
The struggle becomes less a matter of effort, but your efforts are becoming less and less necessary because He is living His life in you. The former things are passing away. Everything is becoming new in Him.
"Therefore if anyone is in Christ [that is, grafted in, joined to Him by faith in Him as Savior], he is a new creature [reborn and renewed by the Holy Spirit]; the old things [the previous moral and spiritual condition] have passed away. Behold, new things have come [because spiritual awakening brings a new life]." - 2 Corinthians 5:17 (AMP)
This is so not only in our life span, but can be true endlessly - it can never end.
If you are believing in Him, you are being slowly recreated into Christ's spiritual image. The final result will be a new "you". When He returns, you will be transformed into one who will be perfect.
No more struggle to do right. When He returns and finishes fashioning you, you will never again need to strive to do the right thing. Will you allow Him to mould you?
You will finally do right...and also be right - forever.
"“See! The tabernacle of God is among men, and He will live among them, and they will be His people, and God Himself will be with them [b][as their God,] and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be death; there will no longer be sorrow and anguish, or crying, or pain; for the [c]former order of things has passed away.” - Revelation 21:3-4
