'Christ in You...'

God And Our Circumstances

Are you discouraged by that you see in your life, what is happening around you, and that which you may hear about?

It becomes easy to begin to wonder where God is, and where He is taking you, where you are going. You begin to question your relationship with Him, and others around you. He has said He will NEVER leave us or forsake us. It may seem impossible to measure your relationship with Christ, because of the circumstances in your life that are beyond your control.

Yes you agree with the scripture that says that “all things work together for good…”., but at times it is difficult to see how good could come from what you see and feel day after day. The “things” turn out to be difficult to bear and to endure, and go on for a long time. You can see only the step you have just taken and seeing the next step seems foreboding, regardless of your planning to the best of your ability. But one step at a time really is all we can see in front of us. Sometimes, we can’t even see where to step. You may be fearful to start to step at all. But Christ is walking just ahead of you.

We walk in His footprints without us seeing where He is going. When we become weary, we lean on Him. He, by the Holy Spirit, comforts us and gives us rest enough to continue on our road of calling. He will do it in ways and circumstances that we cannot foresee. It will often be a great surprise what He has planned, because He has known our circumstances long before we experienced them. One step at a time This is as far as we can see ahead of us. Christ is walking just ahead of us.

When we become weary, we must lean on Him and trust Him. He knows where He is taking us, when we don’t. He, by the Holy Spirit, will comfort us and gives us rest enough to continue on the road of our road of calling, regardless of what that it may be. Rest in faith, and remain in the Spirit of trust, and lean on the faith that God has given you.

Jesus Christ is your safe harbor - regardless of yesterday, today - or tomorrow.

"Let your [a]character or moral disposition be free from love of money [including greed, avarice, lust, and craving for earthly possessions] and be satisfied with your present [circumstances and with what you have]; for He [God] [b]Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor [c]give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [d][I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor [e]let [you] down ([f]relax My hold on you)! [[g]Assuredly not!] So we take comfort and are encouraged and confidently and boldly say, The Lord is my Helper; I will not be seized with alarm [I will not fear or dread or be terrified]. What can man do to me?" - Hebrews 13:5-6 (Amplified Bible)
