God's Love For You
Date Posted: February 11, 2024

Do you believe God loves you?

Some have experienced such trouble in life that they simply cannot believe that God loves them. But regardless of what has occurred in your life, no matter how many mistakes, bad luck, or circumstances you may have been born into without your having any say so in it, God loves you more than you can comprehend.

Consider for a moment God's position down through eternity. He had and has, millions of angels who were created by Him surrounding Him. But other members of the Godhead - the Word who became Jesus, and the Holy Spirit who now represents Him in the world. They are all "God". Perhaps sometime in the infinite past, they throught how wonderful it would be to have others who would become like Them, not as angels or gods as they are God, but beings who would in many ways be in their their very image - beings who could become their children.

God's love for you cannot be comprehended regardless of your bad experiences in life. It can only be apprehended through faith. By faith you can believe and comprehend that which you cannot believe at surface level.

There is a book in the Bible that has intrigued, even mystified many. The Song of Songs (Song of Solomon). It is a love song. Most of us love love songs of some type. But this love song, although picturing love between a man and a woman is in the Bible for another more important reason. God knew that it would be difficult for a human to grasp His feelings of love for us, so this book was inspired not only for human love of man and woman, but to illustrate His feelings for those who would become His children. Jesus is pictured as a bridegroom who loves His bride, the church. So much so that He died in her place.

No matter who you are, or what your life and circumstance is, or has been, God the Father through Jesus Christ loves you beyond your comprehension! (Lamentations 3:22-23)

Not only does God "love" you without limitations, but He manifests many different kinds of love. He loves you with a different kind of love according to your experiences in life. He loves you all the time, day and night, in bad times and good times. It is infinite and limitless. He has a special kind of love for every moment of your life, day and night.

Throughout the book Song of Solomon, the word for "love" is in the plural, and should be translated "loves".

Understanding this expands the limitless love (loves) of God for you. Yes, He loves you with a different kind of love, perfectly adapted to you need, feelings, insecurities, mistakes - and sins. He has a special love for you when you sin. This love is revealed in His sacrifice of the One who became His "only begotten Son" on the cross. This enabled a perfect God to love millions children to the uttermost. He proved His limitless love for you and He will prove it to you for all eternity. If you will surrender to Him so He can recreate you in the very image of Himself, and His first-born Child, Jesus!

Many have experienced very traumatic and hurtful events and relationships in their family. Some have turned their back on their family permanently. If this is so with you, or if you know someone who has experienced these things, there is a family that has wonderful relationships - and for eternity. The family of God.

Some cannot believe in family love, no matter what they do, or what someone else does. But you and they, can know and experience a pure and infinite love(s). God desires more sons and daughters like Jesus - if you can believe. You believe with your will - so you can will to believe in Jesus Christ. He will be your elder brother (Mark 9:24). And the different loves you can know forever is beyond your wildest imagination.

God's eternal family of loves is waiting for you...

"Neither for these alone do I pray [it is not for their sake only that I make this request], but also for all those who will ever come to believe in (trust in, cling to, rely on) Me through their word and teaching, That they all may be one, [just] as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be one in Us, so that the world may believe and be convinced that You have sent Me. I have given to them the glory and honor which You have given Me, that they may be one [even] as We are one: I in them and You in Me, in order that they may become one and perfectly united, that the world may know and [definitely] recognize that You sent Me and that You have loved them [even] as You have loved Me." - John 17:20-23 (AMP)
