'Christ in You...'

Do you feel that God is always with you? How can we know?

Many have difficulties with sensing the presence of God. An old gospel melody perhaps gives us the answer, and says it all, "My God is real, for I can feel Him deep in my heart"

Perhaps we haven't looked in the right place to see Him.

Can you "feel" the Holy Spirit deep inside you? There seems to be a certain degree of spiritual maturity before one can agree with the melody quoted above. But, when it occurs, it can be very real. This is especially true during our prayers.

When we sincerely pray, God is always there with us. when we are truly with Him. At times, I like to think of Him sitting next to me when I read the Bible, or when I am meditating concerning issues in my life, and the lives of others.

There is always a perfect peace when seeking Him in Bible study, prayer, and meditation. Call on Him often. As often as you can. He wants to hear from you, so He can give to you what He has planned for you. You are His child, and he cares for you deeply. He is with you - deep in your heart. He is there. Just trust Him. Trust Him whom you cannot see with your eyes. But His eyes are always on your; every moment of every day, and even in the silence of sleep in your night seasons.

If you have difficulty falling asleep, as the melody goes, count your blessings, instead of sheep. He will keep you through your night seasons of restlessness.

You may be lonely. All are at times.

But, you are NEVER alone.

"You will guard him and keep him in perfect and constant peace whose mind [both its inclination and its character] is stayed on You, because he commits himself to You, leans on You, and hopes confidently in You. So trust in the Lord (commit yourself to Him, lean on Him, hope confidently in Him) forever; for the Lord God is an everlasting Rock [the Rock of Ages]." - Isaiah 26:3-4 (AMP)
