'Christ in You...'

Regardless of yesterday, today, or tomorrow as we walk each day, striving to live in Christ, the third member of the Godhead, is always with us and in us.
Being convinced is the challenge. Part of the Holy Spirit's job is convincing. He actually has three duties: convicting, convincing, and encouraging. (John 16:7-8 AMP) He will be with us and in us always. He will never leave us or abandon us regardless of our mistakes, or inadvertent sins, and circumstances.
He inhabits us completely, knows every thought, every emotion. The Holy Spirit is the one member of the Godhead that can never be forgiven if we sin against Him or deny Him. All sins against God the Father, and Jesus Christ can be forgiven when confessed and repented of. But if we speak against, deny, or in any way reject the Holy Spirit, there can be no forgiveness.
A safe harbor? Yes…if we always respond to and honor the Holy Spirit as God, because He is the essence and spirit of God the Father, and God as Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit pleads on our behalf before the Father and Jesus Christ. He is our intercessor on our behalf before the Father and Jesus Christ.
The importance of the Holy Spirit should never be ignored as we live our Christian lives.
We must never offend in word or action the Holy Spirit. Notice as Jesus emphasizes the importance the function of the Holy Spirit:
““But now I am going to Him who sent Me; and none of you asks Me, ‘Where are You going?’ But because I have said these things to you, sorrow has filled your hearts [and taken complete possession of them].
But I tell you the truth, it is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor—Counselor, Strengthener, Standby) will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him (the Holy Spirit) to you [to be in close fellowship with you]. And He, when He comes, will convict the world about [the guilt of] sin [and the need for a Savior], and about righteousness, and about judgment: about sin [and the true nature of it], because they do not believe in Me [and My message]; about righteousness [personal integrity and godly character], because I am going to My Father and you will no longer see Me; about judgment [the certainty of it], because the ruler of this world (Satan) has been judged and condemned.
I have many more things to say to you, but you cannot bear [to hear] them now. But when He, the Spirit of Truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth [full and complete truth]. For He will not speak on His own initiative, but He will speak whatever He hears [from the Father—the message regarding the Son], and He will disclose to you what is to come [in the future].
He will glorify and honor Me, because He (the Holy Spirit) will take from what is Mine and will disclose it to you.” - John 16:5-14 (AMP)
In order to grow spiritually the Christian must be sensitive to the promptings of the Holy Spirit.
May all who believe in Jesus Christ as our savior, be open and sensitive to the spiritual leading and promptings of the Holy Spirit. He will lead us into all truth, and comfort us in our struggle against sin, and mold us in the spiritual image of Jesus and God the Father.
Being sensitive to the Holy Spirit’s promptings and leading, we will always be in God’s safe harbor.
