'Christ in You...'

There is one thing that God cannot do - not now, not forever. It is impossible for Him.
Since He is eternal past and future, and nothing can prevent His will, then it follows that there is nothing He cannot do.
However, He is prevented from doing something that even He cannot change. He cannot do it because of His divine nature. His holiness makes it impossible to do. Can you imagine such a thing - something that the almighty God cannot do?
Since God is God most Christians would believe that He can do anything since He is almighty, omnipotent, all-powerful, holy, and everywhere present. past, present, and future. A limitless God.
How could this be - that there is something God CANNOT DO?
It is impossible for Him NOT to LOVE.
Why - and how could this be? Simply because God IS love! Everything He does is His love in action. He cannot be what He is not.
God cannot keep from loving because love is not only WHO He is, but also WHAT He is.
It is believed that it is impossible for there to be two people EXACTLY alike in every detail..There never has been, and there never will be, two human beings exactly alike. It seems mind boggling that out of multiple billions of people, no two have ever been exactly alike.
All this being true, this is the reason it is impossible for God to lie. Since He IS Love, this prevents Him from ever telling or saying, or being a lie. It is impossible for Love to lie. God IS love personified. He can be nothing else.
What a comfort for us. To know that God the Father gave His Son for us because He could not keep from loving us.
That we serve a God who is love, and since this is so, He cannot lie to us. He will always love us and always tell us the truth. The truth is of God. He is truth. And since He is Love, we are loved by Him. God and those who believe in Him will love each other because He (Love) is in us. To know and love Him, and to love each other, we must partake of His love, for He and He alone is the source of Love.
God loves everything He has created. Did you know that you cannot keep God from loving you?
He IS forever - LOVE.
"He who does not love has not become acquainted with God [does not and never did know Him], for GOD IS LOVE.. We love Him, because He first loved us. If anyone says, I love God, and hates (detests, abominates) his brother in Christ], he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, Whom he has not seen." - 1 John 4:18-20 (AMP)
