'Christ in You...'
by Dale Krebbs
While sitting and pondering what I had just read in my Bible, I noticed a large empty box across from where from where I was sitting.
The box had been there for several days without hardly a glance…after all a box is just a box. But suddenly I noticed some words printed near the bottom. The words, I noticed, were also printed on the other side of the box - and all four sides.
For some reason I could not keep from staring at the words. The box was meat to contain some moving miscellaneous objects that were to shortly to be moved. There were only three words, rather large words. Suddenly I thought - why? Its just a box. But I could not keep from looking - at the words what were in rather large letters:
“NEVER STOP IMPROVING”
There seemed to be no logical connection TO the box or its contents. Suddenly I thought: “a sermon…in three words?”.
Should we, if are genuine Christians, “never stop improving”? Then I thought of course…we should never stop improving.
But are we?
AM I?
"Therefore, let me warn you beloved, knowing these things beforehand, be on your guard, so that you are not carried away the error by unprincrincabled men who distort dicrine and fall from your own stedfasness of mind, but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be glory, majesty, and splendor, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen," - 2 Peter 3:18 (AMP)
