Believers in Jesus Christ as savior are measured (judged) but never condemned.

And if they love others as He loves, they will never measure others (judge) and condemne others. They have believed and surrendered to Jesus Christ, they have received the Holy Spirit, and have been sealed for eternal life. - believers in Jesus Christ as savior are measured (judged) in this live but never condemned.

And if they love others as He loves, they will never measure others (judge) and condemn others.

Their faith is counted as righteousness by God. Even as Abraham who followed God’s instructions in faith to sacrifice his only son. He proved his faith in a God that he knew was righteous, as he raised the knife to kill his only son. Before the knife came down, God knew his faith was valid.

However, our reward will be according to what we have accomplished spiritually, and our service according to our calling when we believed. The Christian’s works are very important - to the Christian and to Jesus Christ. There will be rewards and the lack of desirable rewards when each Christian is judged. It is not wrong to desire rewards from Christ. He taught this explicitly, and described how they will be measured for reward, and awarded accordingly.

“But it is God who establishes us together with you in Christ and who anointed us, who also sealed us and gave us the Spirit in our hearts as a down payment - 2 Corinthians 1:21-22.

Abraham’s trust in God was proven before he realized his faith. He proved faith to God. He had a faith that was counted as righteousness.

“So then those who are people of faith [whether Jew or Gentile] are blessed and favored by God [and declared free of the guilt of sin and its penalty, and placed in right standing with Him] along with Abraham, the believer.” – Galatians 3:9.

Abraham had a kind of faith that perhaps few have. There is a kind of faith that says “God can”. And there is a faith that believes from the heart that “God will”. There are many who affirm the faith that “can”. Unfortunately there are few who affirm God will. This affirmation is based on genuine evidence – evidence from the Bible, and confirmed eventually by patience and endurance. They wait patiently on the Lord. Believers in Jesus Christ as savior are measured (judged) but never condemned.

Then trust God for the known - and the unknown.

Until then - may we all as Christians be able to confess in the way the Apostle Paul did when his service to Christ was complete:

“I have fought the good and worthy and noble fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith [firmly guarding the gospel against error]. In the future there is reserved for me the [victor’s] crown of righteousness [for being right with God and doing right], which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that [great] day—and not to me only, but also to all those who have loved and longed for and welcomed His appearing.” – 2 Timothy 4:7-8

…and in the way that James described:

“So wait patiently, brothers and sisters, until the coming of the Lord. The farmer waits [expectantly] for the precious harvest from the land, being patient about it, until it receives the early and late rains. 8 You too, be patient; strengthen your hearts [keep them energized and firmly committed to God], because the coming of the Lord is near.” – James 5:7-8

Have you believed and surrendered you life to Jesus Christ?
