'Christ in You...'

The Story Of Your Life
Date Posted: March 10, 2024

Movie makers, book writers - fiction and true life stories - are fond of analyzing and telling the life of well known persons. Attempts have been made to tell Jesus Christ's life story, about how He walked the dusty roads of Palestine, and doing so, they infusing tension and drama that hopefully will produce a hit and produce a lot of money.

However, the life story of a Christian - you and me - has been written in advance by one of the Biblical writers of the Bible. Your life story has been revealed to one of God's servants in advance, and is recorded in a few verses of a book of the Bible. If you have accepted Jesus Christ as you Savior, believe in and surrendered your life to Him, Amazing as it may seem, your life and mine, and every true Christian's life has been written and published in advance.

As true story productions often inform us, "only the names have been withheld". The following quote is your life story and mine. As you read, ponder your life as you have lived thus far, you can see your life for the future. Amazingly, your life and mine is contained in six expanded verses of the Bible. Your life now, or what it can be in the future, follows:

"Even when we were dead (slain) by [our own] shortcomings and trespasses, He made us alive together in fellowship and in union with Christ; [He gave us the very life of Christ Himself, the same new life with which He quickened Him, for] it is by grace (His favor and mercy which you did not deserve) that you are saved ([a]delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ’s salvation).

And He raised us up together with Him and made us sit down together [giving us []joint seating with Him] in the heavenly sphere [by virtue of our being] in Christ Jesus (the Messiah, the Anointed One). He did this that He might clearly demonstrate through the ages to come the immeasurable (limitless, surpassing) riches of His free grace (His unmerited favor) in [His] kindness and goodness of heart toward us in Christ Jesus.

For it is by free grace (God’s unmerited favor) that you are saved ([]delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ’s salvation) through [your] faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [of your own doing, it came not through your own striving], but it is the gift of God; Not because of works [not the fulfillment of the Law’s demands], lest any man should boast. [It is not the result of what anyone can possibly do, so no one can pride himself in it or take glory to himself.]

For we are God’s [own] handiwork (His workmanship), [d]recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live]." - Ephesians 2:5-10 (AMP)

If you are a Christian, your life has been arranged, predestined, ordered, directed, guided, and set in motion by the leadership of the Holy Spirit. You are not your own anymore. You are spiritually cared for, guarded, and provided for. There is one question: all this is, or can be you, IF you believe in Jesus Christ, and have surrendered you life to Him (John 3:16).

If you have lived, and are living with this understanding, or, are willing to live this way, and continue to live this way, you are being trained to live forever. In this way your life has been written long ago.

Are you living, or are you willing, to live out the script that God has written for you?

Your name will no longer be "withheld"...but you will be known through eternity!

"Those who have insight will shine brightly like the brightness of the []expanse of heaven, and those who lead the many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever." - Daniel 12:3
