Relationships of The Heart w/ Nancy

When God Heals!
Date Posted: May 13, 2012

This morning I read Acts 3. A man who could not walk was sitting near the temple gate. According to this account he was doing what he did in his daily life. He was simply sitting and begging. Along comes Peter and John and the man assumes he is going to receive money. But instead Peter looks at him and says, "Look at us! I have no money, but I will give you what I have." Peter does not touch the man, but he says, "In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, get up and walk!" The man was healed! What a day for this man. He was in the middle of a day that was not unusual for him. And without trumpets, noise, jumping up and down the man is healed! What an amazing day. A day I am sure this man never forgot about. I can see him telling this story again and again with excitement. "I was sitting by the temple gate, begging. I was unable to walk. And along came these men and all one said was, "In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, get up and walk!

What a day to remember! We never know what is up ahead! Don't you love surprises? I do!

As Always, serving with you, holding on to the Masters hand, his name is Jesus!
