Word from Nairnshire

Offer

Everything has its price, and we just have to pay, irrespective of the circumstances.

Well, that may be true in most instances, but it is certainly not true when it comes to faith in Jesus Christ.

There is an invitation to all who are thirsty to come to the waters and drink, and if you have no money you can still come and buy and eat.

For what Almighty God offers, you do not need money.

God makes it so simple. He makes it so easy, and yet, man battles with this.

Would some like it to be made harder, or more difficult, so that in one sense they could say they possibly deserved to receive these blessings from God?

This is one of the astonishing truths regarding the Gospel of Jesus Christ. You do not need money, nor do you need to struggle.

You do not require to buy anything expensive, and if you possessed lots of money, and owned all the gold in the world, you still could not buy what God offers.

No man can buy what Jesus Christ offers.

Why spend money on what is not bread? Why work and never feel satisfied?

Isaiah goes on to issue a command that has blessed thousands over the years.

Seek God while He can still be found. There comes that moment when Jesus Christ calls, or when God draws near, and the Holy Spirit whispers.

It may be the first time, or the second time, but we never know when it might be the final time.

Through Isaiah, God calls upon the wicked man to forsake his ways and the evil man his thoughts, in order to receive mercy and pardon and forgiveness.

Don’t sink. Just drink, and be satisfied.

There is no better offer anywhere.
