Oh! May the God of green hope fill you up with joy, fill you up with peace, so that your believing lives, filled with the life-giving energy of the Holy Spirit, will brim over with hope! - Romans 15:13 (MSG) She seemed hopeless. Her path looked totally obscure from her viewpoint. I prayed for my friend’s hope to be revived and her eyes to be opened to HIS faithfulness. Recently she shared with me how her hope had been glo- riously renewed! Yet her circumstances had remained exactly the same. So what had changed? Friends, she had now come to expect the God…  ( Click for more )

He who has knowledge spares his words, And a man of understanding is of a calm spirit. - Proverbs 17:27 Remember those wounds you would get on the playground as a child? You know, those wounds you would stubbornly and painfully pick the scabs from and wonder why it hurt so much and would not heal? What great advice did your momma give you? I forgave you all that debt just because you begged me to do it. Shouldn't you have had pity on your fellow servant, just as I had pity on you?' - Matthew 18:32-33 The picture of the LOVE of Christ is shown to us in 1 Corinthians 13. Verse 5 reads, “Love...keeps no record of wrongs.” Recently I did a search on two words - UNFORGIVENESS ROTS…  ( Click for more )

The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky proclaims the work of His hands.  Day after day they pour out speech; night after night they communicate knowledge.  There is no speech; there are no words; their voice is not heard.  Their message has gone out to all the earth, and their words to the ends of the inhabited world. In the heavens He has pitched a tent for the sun.  It is like a groom coming from the bridal chamber; it rejoices like an athlete running a course. It rises from one end of the heavens and circles to their other end; nothing is hidden from…  ( Click for more )
